Autumn Troop Review

iNote- Autumn Troop Review; intelligent, automated, full-spectrum information to win modern wars

Since August, information about the parade had already started to circulate. Unlike the secrecy and mystique ahead of the 70th anniversary parade ten years ago, this year the messaging seemed far more proactive: sweat-drenched training grounds, slick individual gear—the feeds about the review were everywhere on social media. Only when the formal parade began did it become clear that what had been released was just a small slice of the grand ceremony. The marching formations accounted for only 10 minutes, while ground and air equipment formations took 25 minutes. Just as you were expecting the impeccably aligned, imposing marching units, waves of armored steel rolled forward with a palpable sense of pressure. Some may not be used to a parade centered on mechanized systems, but this is exactly what a modern force that safeguards national security and upholds world peace should look like under today’s warfare paradigm. Intelligent, automated weapons and full-spectrum information systems are essential to win modern wars.

From September 4, 1839, when British colonizers launched the First Opium War against China, to September 2, 1945, when Japan signed the instrument of surrender—38,714 days—the Western powers and Japanese fascists plundered wealth and slaughtered innocents on this ancient land, inflicting immense and lasting pain on the nation. More than half a century later, on September 3, 2025, we can finally say that in terms of weapons and equipment, we have largely achieved self-strengthening in national defense. Whether it is integrated air, space, and ground unmanned reconnaissance–strike systems, electronic warfare, information support units, or joint logistics support, we have essentially built an armament system suited to the current character of war, and through the DF-5C liquid-fueled intercontinental strategic missile we have established a global nuclear strike capability, enabling effective strategic deterrence.

The world today is far from tranquil. Humanity once again faces choices between peace and war, dialogue and confrontation, win–win and zero-sum. The Eastern and Western camps remain opposed. National defense ensures a peaceful environment for economic development, while economic growth provides ample funding for defense. This relatively stable and peaceful environment is vital for the economy; we should devote our full energy to economic development.
